Most MMO players including Aion supporters are also comic fans. If you are one of them, this news will sure to inspire you. DC Comics' Wildstorm imprint and Ncsoft has announced "Aiva's Story," a limited edition comic book based on Aion Online was coming.
Aion Online, which available in Asia now, is going to launch in EU and US in September. To heat up the upcoming launch event, NCsoft cooperated with DC Comics who has licensed just about every videogame franchise under the sun. Artist Neil Googe will be in charge of the pictures and writers David Noonan and Ricardo Sanchez are appointed as scenarists.
Aion fans can meet Aiva in comic book this weekend at Penny Arcde Expo 2009 (PAX 2009) in Seattle. Attendances can get "Aiva's Story" for free at Aion booth. Fans also have a chance to get the free Aion comics at GameStop stores in the United States and Electronic Boutiques in Canada by purchasing the game.
Before we actually read it, we can only tell you Aiva is a young Asmodian warrior who vows vengeance against the Elyos who killed her family during a raid. Aiva trains ceaselessly, hoping to become a Daeva and someday find her nemesis on the battlefields of the Abyss (where only Daevas can go). Her story unfolds in the limited run comic by NCsoft and DC's Wildstorm Studios.
